What do they mean by finding a niche on the Internet? We all know that there are millions of searches done on the Internet every day. Did you know that there are tens of thousands of searches done on the Internet every day that are not satisfied by good content, (Information on that topic)? Did you know that all of the searches are tracked by a central database? (Wordtracker.com) In addition to the words that people do searches on, the search engines keep track of the number of sites that they have indexed with those key words, and how long people spend at those sites. How long they spend is believed to be a representation of the quality of the content on the site. In other words, if a person found what they are looking for, they probably won't keep searching.
