Everybody wants more free traffic from the search engines - and the easiest way to achieve it is to increase link popularity. That may sound easy enough, but in practise things are not always that simple. Well, "simple" is back if you follow the exact same technique I use to increase my sites link popularity and explode my free traffic. So dominating the first page of the search engines is now within your reach. As marketers we're mainly interested in traffic from Google, Yahoo and MSN, and they all use the link popularity of your site to determine how well your will rank and therefore how much traffic it will receive. They also know exactly how to check if you are using automated or "black hat" techniques to get links - and if they think you are, all those links will be ignored and discarded. The key aspect to focus on when getting backlinks to your site is to make it look as natural as possible - by that I mean don't get lots of links in the first week, then nothing in the following weeks. That's like waving a big red flag at the search engines saying "this site's using automated link building systems - please ignore all incoming links". In a series of 4 articles, this being part 1, I'm going to explain the exact approach and techniques I use to gain an ever increasing number of natural links to my site, with virtually no effort at all, and with no outsourcing costs involved. The four different techniques are: The right way to use article directories for high PR incoming text links. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly of submitting to web directories. Natural looking "semi automated" tools you can use to gain hundreds of unique backlinks from one article. Link popularity from blogging. Submitting your site to high PR web directories A new twist on how to increase link popularity with articles How the new "blogging for backlinks" works A very powerful and highly effective approach to automated natural link growth. There's 2 methods I use for building backlinks with articles - first I submit a unique article to a list of some of the top article directories online, and second, I use a brand new automated submission service that submits unique versions of a single article to up to 600 different articles directories. This automated system has been responsible for creating a steadily increasing number of links to my sites all on auto pilot. So, my first technique is to submit unique articles to each of the following directories. Most of these sites will accept a non-unique article, but you will gain a lot stronger link from these sites if you can submit a unique article to each one. The sites I use are: Helium.com BigArticles.com PheedCentral.com EzineArticles.com ArticlesFactory.com SearchWarp.com GoArticles.com That's a total of 7 unique articles so far, and all these sites are seen as "authority" sites in the eyes of Google - which means they'll provide a high value backlink to your site. OK - so we now have 7 permanent high PR incoming links to your site. My second technique is going to explode this to over 600 incoming links, and will be even easier than the first technique. This approach involves the use of a new semi automated system called Unique Article Wizard. The beauty is that as these directories include your article on their site, your links start to grow in a very natural and search engine friendly manner - so all your backlinks count to increasing your link popularity. The second real benefit of UAW is that each article it submits to all these article directories will be unique. The system has a very neat twist that means it will literally create hundreds of unique versions of your article automatically - and it won't be gobble-de-gook or machine generated garbage that no could or would ever want to read. If you know about the duplicate content penalties from search engines you'll appreciate just how powerful this feature is. If you're new to duplicate content issues, no problem - just know that this system is protecting all your articles being dumped as duplicate content.
